Accreditation
Healthe Care maintains accreditation across all its businesses. Our hospital facilities are accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) through the EQuIP Program, Community Nursing through QIC and Aged Care is accredited through ACSAA.
Our commitment to evaluate and improve the quality of care and performance of our services means that Healthe Care voluntarily seek to be measured against these professional standards. This demonstrates to our patients, clients, visiting medical officers and to our community that we maintain high professional standards for quality patient/client care.
Our team also work with national bodies in the development of programs covering both the public and private hospital sectors including:
- Hand Hygiene Australia
- National Inpatient Medication Chart (NIMC)
- Pressure Ulcer Prevention Program
- Falls Prevention Program
- Blood / Blood Products Management
- The Infection Control Program
In order to deliver premium service across our entire group, Healthe Care will seek corporate accreditation in August 2010.
